Café Mista: Vegan Delights is now taking orders and scheduling events!

Café Mista: Vegan Delights offers a boutique personalized baked to order service that is guaranteed to be dairy-free and lactose-free. Gluten-free items can also be made either vegan or not.

Long Island, New York, August 11, 2008 – An ambitious 25 year old Long Island vegan woman recently unveiled a new boutique baked to order service to meet the demand for more dairy-free and lactose-free dessert choices in today’s over-saturated world of pastries filled with milk, eggs, and animal products.

Café Mista: Vegan Delights opened this summer on a small scale. The goal is to build a community rather then build a commercial business. At this stage, the service does not have a store front but acts as a personal baker for each order.

“I meet with every client and have a one-on-one consultation to make sure that we can build a lasting relationship,” Christine Santos, owner, said. “After, I have a steady client base; I plan on supplying to retailers and then eventually having my own bakery on Long Island, and eventually other areas.”

During the consultation, client and owner discuss Café Mista: Vegan Delights’ products, services and different ways to optimize the client’s experience.

The menu offers an escape from the everyday frustration that vegan’s experience, filled with the most decadent desserts that anyone can enjoy and appreciate. Giving any vegan the opportunity to purchase any item without the slightest worry that there may be an ingredient they do not want to eat in them.

Café Mista: Vegan Delights is happy to meet clients’ needs on an individual basis and also services large events.

As a new company, Santos has decided to also feature a monthly item that will be available at a “tasting price.” Clients can visit the website, join the mailing list to receive the monthly notifications, and leave questions and comments for the community to view and respond to. If it is a hit, it goes on the menu; if not then they start from scratch the next month!

“I really want the community to be involved. My clients will be able give me their honest opinion of the monthly goodie on the website but also have the chance to read others posts,” Santos said. “Our goal was to create a place where vegans, lactose intolerant clients, people with gluten allergies or simply those that wanted a healthier snack would be able to indulge their cravings with a plethora of delicious choices while also creating a connection for the vegan population on Long Island.”
